IELTS WRITING TASK 1- ASK FOR CORRECTION

Hello everybody, long time no see. Hope you guys doing well.

Now I come back to ask you for some help. More specifically, that would be IELTS writing task 1 and task 2.

I would try my best to do these parts and may give some feedback if you would like to.

Thanks a bunch:

Here is a writing task 1 from the book Cambridge 12- test 5.

Hope to receive your most honest feedback.

The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did a regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph illustrates the proportion of males and females in Australia in the various age groups who exercised on a regular basis in 2010.

Overall, it can be seen from the graph that except for the group of 15 to 24-year-old, Australian men were less likely to engage in doing physical activities than women in other age groups. Additionally, the figure for Australian men and women in the group of 65 and over were nearly equal.

In 2010, there was a significant drop in the rate of men exercising regularly from 15 to 24-year-old to 25 to 34 -year-old, falling from 52.8 % to 42,2% and this continued to decrease to 39,5% for the group that was ten years older. For the three mentioned age groups, the female group, however, witnessed a slight increase from 47,7% to 52,5%.

Regarding the three remaining groups, there was a reverse in the rate of men and women having physical habits. More specifically, the percentage of women in the 35 to 44 age group slightly increased by 0,8% for the age group of 45 to 54 but then gradually declined to 47,1% for those aged 65 and over, with this rate being the same level of physical activity as the youngest age group (15-24). As for men with similar age categories, they, somewhat, experienced a steady rise from 39,5% to 46,7%.
