The given graph provide pictorial information about the refurbishment of a science and technology museum to its current design from 1996 to 2016

Overall, the steam engine exhibition remained unaltered after the refurbishment. The other areas, on the other hand, underwent noticeable modifications and additions.

The size of the car park was diminished over the 20-year period to accommodate a new bicycle area, which was located at the bottom right corner. At the top left of the vacant section, the VR room was developed. And the same with the opposite corner, a solar wind area was erected.

At the top of the buliding, the writing desks was replaced with computers and the library was relocated next to computers to accommodated 3D cinema. Next to it was digital technology room, which originally was the print room in the past. In the western of the museum, diesel engine exhibition was converted into electric car exhibition. At the bottom of the museum, the cafe was substituted with the restaurant and next to it, the reception was extended to the right of the building.

In conclusion, over a 20-year period from 1996 to 2016, most of the facilities underwent alternations while steam engine exhibition still remained.
