The pie charts and table give information about the total value sources of fish imported to the US between 1988 and 2000

The provided table delineates data for the amount of money(in billions of dollars) US expend on purchasing fish from Canada, China, and other countries, whilst three pie charts compare the proportion of imported fish from said countries in 1988, 1992, and 2000.

Overall, it is conspicuous that the total value of imported fish rose by just over double the value throughout the given period. Furthermore, in 1988 Canada was the main supplier of imported fish ,however other countries overtook the position by the final year.

Between 1988 to 1992, the total value of fish importation increased almost four billion dollars, and by the year 2000, it reached to 10.72 billion dollars.

Regarding the pie charts, in 1988, Canada imported the vast majority of fish(three-fifths), followed by other countries and china, at 13 percent and 27 percent respectively. However, the share of Canada fish exportation fell appreciably to 34 percent in 1992 and 28 percent in 2000, whereas other countries became the dominant source of exportation of fish with 42 percent and china came to the second place with 30 percent in the final year.
