The chart illustrates how the sector spends on to India’s gross domestic products in agriculture, industry and services between 1960 and 2000.

Overall, there was a decline in agriculture, while a rise was seen in services. The industry has fluctuated.

The number of agriculture in India started at 62, after which it saw a dramatic decrease to 15 in 2000. A similar change was seen in the figure for services, which increased from 13 to 62 in 2000. The number of industries fluctuated in the range from 17 to 28, and decrease from 28 to 25.
