Overall, it is apparent that the price of a cup of coffee in Brisbane remain steady while that of other countries had an increase. In addition, Melbourne was the city that changed most in the value of a cup of coffee.
From 2010 to 2014, Sydney was the city that had highest price of a cup of coffee with 2.9$ and 3.17$ respectively. Following by Melbourne with 2.4 $ and 2.9 $ individually. Moreover, the cost of a cup of coffee changed most in Melbourne with nearly 21% rising. Brisbane was ranked third and had no change in the value of a cup of coffee. In Perth, a cup of coffee was put up for sale at 2.1$ in 2010 but it was increased 7.1% to 2.25$.
The remaining cities had the lowest prices. The value of a cup of coffee in Adelaide included 1.87$ in 2010 and up to 2$ in 2014 with 6.95% rising change. The last one is Canberra, which had a lowest price and change of a cup of coffee between six cities with only 1.5$ for a cup and 6.25% change after 4 years to 1.7$.
