The two plans illustrate the changes through which an airport will go in the next year (there is a mistake here). Overall, the gates area will be subject to great modifications according to the redevelopment program.

At the arrivals area, new facilities will be introduced, such as a bar, an ATM and a place where people can rent cars. In the departure area, instead, the check-in desk and a cafe will be relocated to make space for a bag drop area. Besides, new entrance doors will be open at arrivals and departures, albeit these two spaces will continue to be separated. Finally, new shop will be located right after the passport control for departures.

The greatest will concern the number of gates. In fact, their number will increase from 8 to 18 thanks to the construction of a new V-shaped building. The overall area, once completed, will resemble the letter y. Moreover, the walkways that were used to reach the different gates will be replaced by a sky train.
