The shown pie chart compares the ratios of energy used for different purposes, while the data table illustrates how much electricity is used per household according to the number of members in an exemplary Australian family.

At the first glance, it is clear that most energy is used for balancing the atmosphere and boiling water, while stand-by power and cooking are less used in the survey. Additionally, the amount of electricity used increases as the total number of individuals in a house rises.

Regarding the pie chart, the enormous energy comes to heating and cooling purposes ranks first in the list with 38%, relatively higher than that of water heating with 25%. Meanwhile, the information of appliances such as clothes and dish washers, entertainment occupies moderately 16%. Simultaneously, the figures for both frogres, freezers and lighting are identical, which makes up 7%. However, cooking and stand-by power bottom the chart with merely 4% and 3%, consecutively.

Turning into the data table, the household with only one person consumes the range from 5.000 to 6.500 kilowatt hours every year. Besides, if the number of people comes to two and three, the electricity used is 6.000 - 8.000 kWh and 7.500 - 10.000 kWh, respectively. Moreover, 12.000 - 16.000 kWh is recorded in the figure for families with six or more members.
