The line graph illustrates how many Iranian, Greek, and Turkish students enrolled at Sheffield University over the four-year period, starting from 2005.

Overall, it is obvious that the number of Greek students saw a downward trend, whereas the number of Iranian and Turkish students experienced a sharp increase.

At the beginning of the period, in 2005, about 180 Greek students enrolled at Sheffield University, which was higher than the number of Iranian students (40) and Turkish students (20). Between 2005 and 2007, there was a sharp decrease in the figure for Greek students at Sheffield University. The number of students from Greece dropped to approximately 70 in 2007 and was surpassed by the Turkish figure.

After 2007, a gradual decline continued to be seen in the number of Greek students whilst this period saw a sharp rise in the figure for Iranian students and Turkish students at Sheffield University. The number of Greek students remained the same from 2007 to 2008 before falling to the lowest point in 2009. As a result, the figure for Iranian students and Turkish students peaked at the highest point in 2009 at about 160 and 120, respectively.
