The diagram gives information about the function of a wave-energy machine and how to locate it in a right way.
It is clear that the machine has two different chambers. In the first stage, water will follow the wave direction into the lower chamber. As the water rises, air flow will be gone upward. At the same time, the air flow from the upward will come through the chamber, increasing more air pressure which rotates the turbine. The spinning will be key which operates the electricity generation.
Furthermore, constructing the wave-energy machine in the right way will produce the energy effectively. In order to produce more energy, the machine should be put at the large waves which will bring higher output. But in turn, it will cost higher to be installed. On the other hand, when put machine at the small waves, it can reduce cost in installing; however, the energy cannot as high as that at the location of large waves.
