The projections illustrate a community park when it early opened in 1920 and the equivalent park at present.

Grange Park in 1920 was quite green. There was a fountain at the central of the park and to the left of it, a stage for musicians were situated. Besides, a glasshouse was at the right entrance of Eldon Street and opposite it, there was a pond for water plants. In addition, some rose gardens together with seats were placed around the rectangular boundary of the park.

The park has altered considerably since 1920. Nowadays, a big rose garden and some surrounding seats is found at the centre of the park. To the west of the park, the stage for musicians has been superseded by an amphitheatre for concerts and only the rose garden north of the amphitheatre remains. Furthermore, the glasshouse has been converted into a water feature. To the north-east of the park, not only the pond for water plants but also the nearby rose garden has been substituted by a children’s play area and a café. In addition, a new entrance underground car park has been constructed at the south-east corner.

Overall, a significant transformation has taken place in Grange Park. Although the primitive infrastructure such as rose gardens, seats, music estate persist, there have been accumulations of a fountain, a café and a children’s play area.
