The island has been totally revolutionised by the actions of the human being. Although the nature has been preserved, many touristic facilities such as accommodation and a restaurant were built in this previously isolated island. In order to attract as many tourists as possible, a pier has been constructed as well as several vehicle tracks which allow tourists to move through the island with their cars, albeit the road system is still underdeveloped and only connects the pier with the restaurant and the reception. This is probably due to the small size of the island which is no longer than 200 metres. Conversely, many footpaths have been built and they are the main system to move within the island and reach the only beach on the west side. In fact, the island presents high cliffs where it is not possible to swim. Moreover, accommodation on the east of the reception do not present any junction which connects the vehicle track with the footpath. Therefore, it is possible to assume that there exist several dirt roads to reach this residential area.
