The diagram represents the steps involved in the process of canning fruit. There are four main steps in the entire process, from harvesting to the production of the final canning fruit products, which will be outlined below.

First, the ripe fruit are harvested by hand carefully and transported to the factory. In the factory the fruit undergoes stringent quality control. After that, it is thoroughly washed, so wokers can see whether there are any marks or bruises or not. Next, the fruit is graded in to different sizes. Only fruit of the right quality and size is used for canning. Rejects are sent for animal feed or other uses. Then it is moved to another stages. The fruit is peeled, cored and cut in to small pieces. These pieces are then filled and added into tins which are sealed immediately before the fruite is sterilise. In the final stages, workers put the lables on the tins and pack them into boxs, so the delivers can transport easily to shops, cafes and so on.
