Topic: The charts show information about the reading habits of UK teenagers. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features. Make comparisons where relevant.

The two bar charts illustrate the distribution of girls and boys hobbies on each specific genres as well as the average books read by teenager per month in the United Kingdom in 2016.

In overall, both genders shared the same interests on some typical books, namely: Fantasy, Adventure, and Science Fiction compared to the sharp contrast in Romance. In addition, a majority of teenagers considered reading books is their monthly hobby.

It can be seen clearly from the first picture, there was almost no distinction between both two genders with the proportions of girls and boys voted for Fantasy, Adventure and Science Fiction were 60% and 59%; 56% for both; 43% and 45% respectively. While there was a considerable discrepancy between those two groups was observed in Romance with only 5% boys voted, just one-tenth of the weaker gender.

In the second figure, 85% teenagers showed interests in reading books, with a reading rate fluctuated around one to three books per month. The number of readers gradually decreased, which is inversely proportional to the increase in book numbers. Conversely, there was a startling point in the quantity of people reading more than six books monthly, which accounted 10% of those surveyed respondents, as opposed to just 2% or 1% people read five or six books respectively.

It is not good for graphs and charts.) give / plot / compare the distribution of girls and boys hobbies (wrong word. A hobby could be cooking, making candles or collecting stamps. Be very specific about what is plotted. ) on each specific genres (wrong form) as well as the average number of books read by teenager (wrong form) per month in the United Kingdom in 2016. (Incomplete. How many genres, and what are the genres related to?)

The most popular genres of novels were Fantasy and Adventure. Fantasy captured the interests of 60% of the girls and 59% of the boys, while the data for Adventure was the same, 56%. Science fiction was liked by a little less than half, 43% for the girls and 45% for the boys. Girls definitely liked Romance more than the boys, with 50% of the girls liking it compared to only 5% of the boys, a ratio of 10:1. On the other hand, boys liked war and spy stories more than twice as much as girls, 30% to 14%. The percentage of likes for the other genres ranged from 21 to 35%, with the exceptions being Sport stories, which only a tenth of the girls favored, and Classic literature, with the same rating (10%) from the boys.

In terms of the average amount of reading, 85% of the teenagers read at least one book a month, with more than two-thirds (68%) reading between one and three monthly. One tenth of them were avid readers, enjoying more than six per month. About one-third (32%) averaged just one book a month.
