The bar chart represents the frequency of people's fast food consumption in percentage in the USA in the years 2003, 2006 and 2013.
The percentage of people eating fast food everyday fell negligibly in 2006 and remained unchanged in 2013 (3%). More or less the same percentages were recorded for those who had never had fast food. The percentage of this category experienced a 1% drop in 2006 and remained the same 4% in the next 7 years. However, those people who ate fast food a few times a year increased in number by 2% in 2006 and stayed at the same number of 15% in 2013.
Meanwhile, the percentages for people eating fast food several times a week as well as once a week fluctuated in this decade. The former grew from 17% to 20% in 2006 and fell to 1% less than its original number. The latter also saw a growth of 2% in 2006 and reached 33%, then was followed by a significant decrease of 5% in 2013. Finally, the group eating fast food once or twice a month experienced a fall of 5% in 2006. Then in 2013, after a dramatic growth of 8% it reached 33%.
Overall, most people ate fast food on a regular basis including: several times a week, once a week and once or twice a month. The greatest percentages also belonged to these groups.
