Ielts writing task 1

The line chart gives information about the percentage of the population aged above 65 in the period from 1940 to 2040 in three different countries : Japan , Sweden and USA.

Overall, all 3 countries increased about the population aged 65 . The proportion of Sweden and USA oscillated evenly.Japan 's percentage soared between 2000 and 2030.

In 1940,three countries Japan, Sweden and USA had the proportion which is 5 , 7,5 and 10 subsequently , they had equal numbers .Until 2040, they remain the same distance numbers. In addition,the whole process,the number of USA and Sweden are the similar trend.

In the period from 1960 to 1990 , the percentage was constant , it occupied 4,6%. Time after that , this number increased significantly , it oscillated from 5 to 27 %. For the other two countries , the proportion is in the range from 8 to 25 , they increase gradually.
