The bar chart illustrates the percentages of boys and girls who take part in five different leisure time (Skateboarding/rollerblading, bike riding, watching TV, and Computer games, Art and craft) in Australia.
Overall, it is obvious that the most leisure time activity among this age group is watching television. All children in Australia spend their time in this activity and it is true for both boys and girls. However, in three of the four remaining activities, boy's participation is significantly greater than that of girl's.
The most popular activity is playing computer games. Four out of five boys enjoy these games, compared to almost 58% of girls. Skateboarding is forecast to reduce its overall number of participation, from around 40% to 30%. Art and craft, and Bike riding show the least variation, Art and craft are being the activity closet to maintaining equilibrium, with 40% for boys creeping marginally up to 68% for girls.
