Ielts Writing Task 1

May you guys please check my essay for Ielts writing task 1 and give me some feedback? Many thanks in advance. It is as follow:

The line paragraph depicts how many terawatt hours of electricity are generated in France from 1980 to 2010. Overall, nuclear power is in the majority and tends to increase steadily through the years while thermal and hydroelectric energy seem to be in the same scenario and renewables appeared as a new propensity from the beginning of 21st century.

Commencing at the same level around 70 terawatt hours in 1980, the electricity produced from nuclear power speedily grew up and hit a peak in 2005 with about 475 terawatt hours while the hydroelectric energy kept fluctuating between 50 and 100 terawatt hours over the years.

Having the same scenario with hydroelectric energy, electricity generated from thermal power went down significantly from approximate 125 terawatt hours to under 50 terawatt hours during the first 8 years from 1980. After that it remained around 50 terawatt hours to 2012. Renewable energy was developed at the end of 20th century and continuously kept rising year by year.
