The charts compare the key factors that influenced the migrant’ decisions to and from the Uk in 2007

Overall, what stands out from the chart that definite job was the most common reason for the migrants to move in and out the UK. The percentage of immigrants coming to the UK for formal study was just over sixth-time higher than those of emigrants.

When it comes to immigration, the highest category fell into definite job, which represented 30% of total reasons. The similar pattern was found on emigration with 29% highest proportion of people emigrating from the Uk for work. It can be seen that while 26% of people went to Britain for formal study, this figure was significantly higher than that of emigrants for the same reason. By contrast, the category of seeking for a job in immigration made up 12% of total while the figure was doubled that for the same category in emigration. In terms of accompany join, these figures for migration were similar, at about 14% each.
