The bar chart shows the hours of leisure time in a typical week enjoyed by males and females of different employment status between the year 1998 and 1999.

Overall, it evident that unemployment men have more free time with 82 hours per week, which is about five hours, more free time than women. Retired people also have a lot of leisure time, with men having around 80 hours per week and women having around 75 hours per week. Among the women, housewives had the second-highest numbers, with about 50 hours, followed by part-time and full-time workers at 42 and 38 hours respectively. This more than women work full-time or part-time and less than women unemployment or retired persons.
