IELTS Writing task 1

The charts below show the results of a questionnaire that asked visitors to the Parkway Hotel how they rated the hotel's customer service. The same questionnaire was given to 100 guests in the years 2005 and 2010.


The pie charts illustrated the percentage of the different answers to evaluate the customer service of Parkway Hotel in 2005 and 2010.

At first glance, it is clear that satisfactory was the most common answer in 2005, while in 2010, most of the people rated the service was good.

It is clear that there was a significant growth in the answer for excellent, from a very small number( 5%) to over a quarter. In addition, the hotel's customer service was rated better than 5 years ago when "good" answer had the largest proportion in 2010 at just under 40%.

However, people rating the hotel's service excellent reduced from nearly a half to under 20% in 2010. There are fewer and fewer people rating this service from poor to very poor, from 20% in 2005 to 10% in 2010.
