IELTS Writing task 1

[Please review it for me, thanks a lot]

The line graph illustrates the average figure for travelling each day by three different transport in the UK from 1970 to 2030.

Overall, car is the most popular transport which used travel throughout the period shown. Also, the quantity of commuters uses car and train increase, while there was a steady decrease in the figure for bus.

In the period between 1970 and 2010, the number of commuters travelling by car increased rapidly to reach about 7 million in 2010. The was a slow rise in the figure for train from about 2 million in 1970 to 3 million in 2010. By contrast, the figure for bus declined slightly to reach approximately 3.5 million in 1970.

It can be seen from the graph that in 2030, the figure for car is anticipated to increase to its highest level, at about 9 million. Also according to the prediction, while the quantity of commuters travelling by train continues to grow to reach about 5 million, that of those travelling by bus decreased to reach approximately 3 million.
