The bar chart illustrates the numbers of girls and boys taking part in 5 different types of leisure activities in Australia.
Overall, both genders liked watching TV/videos the most. Furthermore, art and craft are the least popular activity among boys while not many girls showed a preference for skateboarding.
There are some specific activities in which more boys participated than girls. It is obvious that more boys skateboarded than girls (around 40% and 30%, respectively) . Similarly, the proportion of boys riding bike (roughly 70%) exceeded that of girls (nearly 60%). In terms of electronic, the number of boys was about 20% higher than that of girls.
On the other hand, more girls participated in art and craft than boys (about 60% and 40%, respectively). In addition, both genders have the same high proportion of nearly 100% with regards to watching TV/videos.
