The given table illustrates the change in number visitors to Ashdown Museum while the pie charts describe the visitors’ assessments about the museum before and after its refurbishment. Overall, after the refurbishment, there was a significant increase in the number of visitors to Ashdown Museum. Besides, the visitors’ attitude improved with high percentages of satisfaction ratio.
The given surveyed period witnessed an increase by 18,000 of visitors came to the museum after the refurbishment, soaring from 74,000 to 92,000 people. About the survey, it was reported that the proportion of all visitors giving good remark accounted for 75%, which was 30% higher than of that before the refurbishment. To be more specific, the percentages of the people with absolute satisfaction approximately doubled from 15% to 35% while with good satisfaction went up by 10%, from 30 % to 40%.
In the year before the refurbishment, total dissatisfaction accounted for more than a half of the results with the highest proportion of 40% belonging to those expressing “dissatisfied”. However, after the refurbishment, there was only 15% of the visitors feeling discontented and the remaining parts for the group of people with strong dissatisfaction and no comment, equally 5% for both.
