When designing a building, the most important factor is intended use of the building rather than its outward appearance. Do extent do you agree or disagree?
It is argued that a designing of construction should be focused on its aesthetic elements rather than its basic funtion. My view is that a design should keep balance between two factors as although a good-liooking appearance enhances the beauty of its surroundings without meeting its main purpose, it would be a waste.
It is not denied that buidings having an appealing appearance may be a source of beauty for a country that may be able to encourage tourists come to as it meets a lot of different purposes such as work, leisure and travel. Saigon Center Post Office, for example, is well-known for its unique ancient architecture located in the centre of the city that attracted a huge number of visitors annually.
However, the most vital factors when designing any construction is to meet the needs of residents, owners, patrons. Specifically, one of the neccesarities for building is safely, that is, it promises for its sturdy and durable.
However, nowadays, most of designers tend to concentrate on fashionable factors rather than funtional ones. For example, in India, an architectural firm gained popularity of its one-of-a-kind product, but a few years later, it was collapsed since the minor earthquake. As a result, some resources were damaged and many lives were endangered in such buildings that attach special importance to outward appearance over its basic funtionality.
In sum up, I agree with this opinion that the purpose of the designing is of utmos importance instead of external aspects, as if the buidling is not provide the right funtions for users, it would be a waste in both labor and property,or even risky.
