The line graph illustrates the rate of people who are out of work in Us and Japan from march 1993 to march of 1999.

Overall, the unemployment rates of both Us and Japan from march 1993 to march 1999 fluctuated in the same trend. Although throughout the previous period, the trend of the rate of both nations were demonstrated differently.

In 1993 to 1999 period, the unemployment rate in US fluctuated, although it's main trend was gradual decline. In 1993, the figure for the US reached a peak which was 7.0%. From between 1997 and 1998 to between 1988 and 1999 the figure hit the lowest point which was under 5.0%.

Over the same period, the unemployment rate in Japan varied oppositely to US. It gradually increase from the beginning to 1996. Then it marginally decreased during 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 1998, it went an upward trend and hit the highest point during 1998.
