Hello All, I am trying to improve my writing skills for IELTS writing exam which I am planning to take in a few months. Kindly help me with the grammar, sentence creation, use of synonyms etc..

My Answer:

Dear John,

Hope you are doing well. It's been quite a long time since we met. Lot of things happened in between and the most joyful one is that I bought a house in the outskirts of Munnar town. You know well that, It is always my dream to settle down in Munnar.

I am writing this letter to invite you to the party, that I am planning to host to celebrate this event with all our friends. All the arrangemetns will be made at the backyard of my newly purchased house that offers a great view of the hilly landscape of Munnar.

I am expecting all to arrive at the occation by afternoon, so that we can gather for the party by evening. All the arrangements are made including a buffet dinner. Boosing is excluded as most of them as invited with family. A small play area is arranged for kids as well. I believe we can spend a great evening refreshing our old memories. Wrapping up this letter expecting you to be arriving on time.
