Topic: In new towns which are planned,it is more important to invest in public parks or sports facilities rather than shopping centres for people in their free time.Do you agree or disagree?

The conflicts between investing in public parks ,sport facilities and shopping areas for people have been opened to debate for decades. While some people suppose that new towns planned should be concentrated on parks and sports, I would argue that shopping malls also have many benefit impacts on human's leisure activities.

To start with, it is undisputable the majority number of advantages brought back by public parks and sports facilities in our daily lives. First, parks consruction will provide open places for residents there, which means they can hang out with their friends whenever they are free. This is essential for mutual understanding and social bonds purpose. Friendship may have opportunities to develop, therefore. Similarly ,people physical well-being can be greatly enhanced. Many scientific research have proved that exercises help people to relieve stress and stimulate brain in good situation. Having access to modern sports amenities like swimming pools or tennis courts is a good way to keep people away from disease of the century as lung cancer or heart attack ...

However, it would be a crude and simple-minded way to deny value of shopping centre to us . The more centers built, the wider range of domestic and imported products people can choice. To bring us closer in reality, people are received great comfort and convenience when performing their daily tasks. We will recognize that this investment worth being carried out because it is not only save time and fuels, but also reduce concern about the origin of the products. Moreover, to increase business profits and promote commercial activities, shopping construction should be applied. On the other aspects, the government will be easier in creating and manufacturing job chances for the local residents. This is a good solution for reducing the amount of unemployment and poverty each year. For example, people do not need to face the multi-profession to make ends meet and they can spend their spare time to enjoy their life, in addition.

In conclusion, I disagree with the view in the statement and I believe that both pubic parks or sports facilities and shopping centres should be invested and developed by the government because they are the backbone of any civil society.
