Task 2: Today parents spend little free time with their children. Why is it the case? Who is more affected: parents or children?

With the amazing development of society, great changes have taken place in every single family. Unfortunately, there are some bad effects on children when parents spend less time with their children. In this essay, I will discuss why is this happen and who is more affected.

From my point of view, I believe that there are several reasons why parents spend less free time with their children but mostly because of the nature of the work. To commence with, there are some parents too busy with making ends meet so they do not have enough time for their children. Because of overworking; hence, it leads to a lack of communication with the children. Furthermore, when they have free time for their children they are usually addicted to technology devices like smartphones or social networking.

Children are delicate so they are more affected as a critical result. They would become less communicative with their parents and feel lonely in their homes. Over time children can even develop mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

In brief, I consider that overworking and overusing smartphones are two main reasons why parents spend less free time with their children and children have a more serious impact than parents.
