Many organisations claim that smart dressing should be known to their employees. Meanwhile, others put the quality of work more valuable than appearance. I strongly believe that the quality of work is far more needed in offices. The following essay takes a look at both sides of the argument and my opinion.
When it comes to the topic of dressing in the workplace, there are those who know that smart dressing is to choose clothes which are polite and can be elegant. Consequently, it is clear that it has a variety of positive effects on work. To start with, smart dressing makes a good impression on partners. They believe that they are respected and then feel at ease to start working with. Research has found that many officers nowadays claim that wearing smartly gives them a variety of opportunities to have contracts with other companies, projects.
On the other hand, the quality of jobs in workplaces is still an important thing. The more quality officers give, the more opportunities to boost their careers have. The boss often wants people who are truly good at work, in order to stay longer and can be permanent. Not only the career but also have the trust-worthy from others partners. For instance, in spite of normal clothes, if that person can accomplish well the project or have a good discussion about the job, they are still be hired and get compliments.
To sum up, both good appearance and quality of job have considerable impacts on jobs. However, I strongly prefer good quality to smart dressing. Whether people dress well or not, if they do not finish the project in good status or just like to wear beautiful but can not do anything, they still be criticised and not good for the organizations.
