Violence is a major problem in schools nowadays. What are the causes? What can be done to solve this problem?

In today's world, school violence is a worrying issue in many countries. There are some reasons leading to this serious problem. Violence at school can be tackled by a few solutions.

There are a few reasons why violence occurs at schools today. The first reason is that a lot of young students have to suffer from broken family relationships and domestic violence. In particular, dysfunctional families highly have impacts on children's behaviors and personalities, which means that teenagers tend to behave aggressively toward their classmates and teachers at school. Moreover, negative effects from parents would lead to brutal activities of students such as fighting, massacring, and so on. The second reason is that students witness plenty of harmful content on the Internet. For example, there are a variety of movies containing unsuitable bloody shooting and killing scenes. Additionally, students might try to imitate risky activities in public like the protagonists in various action films, which may damage themself as well as other students.

Some ways should be conducted in order to deal with school violence. The first and most vital solution is to help students who have broken families. More precisely, teachers must have a serious talk with the parents of students, this can take action on parents' violent actions at home. The second solution is that government should detect harmful websites and block them. Censoring content strictly on the Internet is needed to prevent teenagers from age-inappropriate things therefore fatal behaviors can be reduced effectively.

In summary, several reasons can lead to violence at schools. However, some solutions can be taken as ways to prevent misbehaviors.
