There have been many inventions in human history (ex: the wheel). Some people think the most important thing is the internet. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In contemporary life, human has been receiving many benefits thanks to the discoveries and inventions, such as wheel, printing technology and motored vehicles. There is merit to the argument that the internet, one of those, is the most momentous invention.

The main reason is that it is a treasure trove on the internet which contains a great deal of valuable information. Wikipedia and google drive, helping us enlarge the knowledge and acquire mass of limitless data, can be an excellent instance of the role of internet. The chief argument in favour of communication by internet is that people can connect each other, regardless of distance. This means that either transmitting data to others or doing self-paced schedule within online conferences and meetings is convenient and quickly.

In other words, I do believe that it is extreme difficulty to do anything, even if cannot, without this technological advance. In fact, I would argue that in terms of national security, each residents’ profile has been uploaded and stored on Internet which helps the government control offence’s situations precisely. In addition to, other inventions, especially social networking sites and crytocurrency, given birth by Internet may fulfil impossible dream in the past. For example, people can directly communicate by Facetime, at the same time, with their family members who are living in all four corner of the earth; online commercial would be accomplished by bitcoin which do not use the means or other mode of domestic currency.

In conclusion, it is certain to gain enormous benefits from the internet, although the others also make valuable contribution to the development of the civilization of mankind.
