In many parts of the world, families were larger in the past because people had more children. Do you think there were more advantages or disadvantages to being part of a large family in the past?

Families used to be more crowded than now since they had more children. This essay will outline the benefits and drawbacks of living in such families.

On the main advantages of large families was learning team activities. In crowded family, responsibility was divided between members of family. Each one accepted a role in home such as shopping, washing, cleaning. This could improve responsibility. The other one could happy life. Children played with other during the day and did not feel alone. The family member sat together at the end of the day and told fun story or joyful experience.

Despite these, large family often had financial problems. Family income shared more member. Parents could not cover many need of children. In these situations, children started to work in order to help family. furthermore, there was not any privacy. In large family, had to share facilities for example bedroom, bicycle and car. If they needed to be alone for studying, others made noise and distracted them. Facilities used by some member, they should have plan for using and authority.

In conclusion, living in crowded family has its two sides, it is important to weigh up the pros and cons more carefully.
