When it comes to how significant it is to be strong physically or mentally, opinions differ. While there are many benefits of having physical strength, I would argue that the mental health of sportspersons partly determines the results of each sports game.
The option to start is training physically to be more solid and more athletic is appealing for several reasons. Firstly, any athletics must have a strong physical as a basic factor, that is the reason why they take so much care of their bodies. Thus, people find it easy to come across a ton of products in the market supporting sportspeople in the training process. For example, Herbalife which is one of the most famous dietary supplements in the world takes advantage of sports events to branding their products. Secondly, in the period of gaining health physically, sportspersons are fortunately aware of both their weakness and strength they have. It leads to the appropriate methods for athletics to improve their personal results to prepare for each game. In this way, they are able to break not only the best records but their limitations also.
On the other hand, it seems to me that athletics are more likely to develop mental health to be more successful in sports. The main reason is that there would be strong faith in themselves to win all games. This belief creates solid determination and dedication in both training and competing processes. So, audiences could behold the spectacular moments of their performances. Furthermore, sportspersons being strong mentally is the source of positive energy for people surrounding them. To be more specific, those vibes could be propagated to all their fans and teammates whose company affects the accomplishment of their careers. The sponsor of societies as well as the support of the team members could assist them to write their name to the highest place in the record boards.
For the aforementioned reasons, I believe that mental health should be concerned more than physical strength in sports.
