IELTS task 2: Please give me advice

The environmental problem in the world can not be solved by ordinary people, and governments and large companies should be responsible for this problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people believe that the environmental problem around the world is difficult to be solved by the individuals and it is authorities and big companies’ responsibilities. In my opinion, I support the idea that all of residents, governments, and corporations should be responsible for the problem.

On the other hand, authorities as well as companies need to effort solving environmental problem. For the former, although some relevant policies have made, they need to legislate more strictly. A salient example is that since some factories do not care about the fine, they still release chemical wastes which damage our environment. Therefore, the government ought to make new policy. In addition, local governments are able to make propaganda in order to improve citizens’ consciousness about protecting the environment. Local governments can also open related courses to educate residents. For large companies, it is essential to replace harmful materials from reused materials. For instance, the products would be reused to make other merchandise instead of polluting our land after disposing of people.

On the other hand, individuals also need to pay attention to environmental problems. After receiving courses opened by the government, they still have to recycle by themselves. If citizens reluctant to recycle, the problems would not be solved for a long time because there will be countless wastes under wrong decomposing processes and make the problems worse.

In conclusion, when it comes to the issue regarding environmental problem, I hold a belief that the governments, companies, and individuals have to learn to solve the problem together.
