Some individuals believe that politicians have the most power across the globe, whereas others counter that the world is affected significantly by science achievements and advancements. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of this argument, and I will state my personal perspective.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why some individuals hold the opinion that politicians have the greatest impact on the world. The government makes laws, policies as well as regulations which contribute to the development of a nation. this means that if they decrease taxes, numerous companies can expand their scale production and a mounting number of international firms will invest in their nations. This leads to the economy’s sustainable development of their countries.

On the other hand, it is undeniable that science can reshape the world by developing high technology. First of all, scientists invent a sheer number of products that can bring many merits for the planet. For example, with the invention of medicine and vaccines, a colossal number of patients have been cured, and such vaccines help them prevent serious diseases such as HIV, cancer, and diabetes. Therefore, science achievements are vital for the improvement of humanity. In addition, scientific experts can provide technical support for politicians to defend another country and protect their nations. For instance, nuclear bombs that have been made by researchers can be a primary factor to win a war.

In conclusion, all things considered, although both sides of this argument have their own merits and demerits. However, on balance, I believe that the influence of science researchers are larger than politicians as they invent many crucial products that benefit the world, and help their nations have a stable stand on the globe.
