In some countries, many more people are choosing to live alone nowadays than in the past. Do you think is positive and negative development?

In recent years, living alone has become a trend. People prefer to live alone than with families, particularly in large cities and developed countries. In my opinion, it has both side positive and negative effect on our lives.

The rise in one-person households has a positive impact on individuals and the economy. As people who live alone, they are likely to have become more independent and self- reliant than those who live with families. As a typical example of this is that young adults live on their own, they must pay bills, learn how to manage their budgets and all of which are valuable skills. From an economic perspective, with the trend being living alone, the demand for housing will be a rapid increase. In this way. it helps estate agents and a whole of other companies that rely on house owners boost their incomes.

On the other hand, there are several negative influences on personal and financial ways. Firstly, rather than the positive of increased independence, people who are the one-person households seem to suffer feelings of loneliness, isolation, and worry. They miss out on the emotional support from their member of families or roommates. Additionally, they must bear the weight of all household bills and responsibilities. Secondly, from a financial point of view, cause the demand for housing being extremely high, supplies are less likely to provide enough products and services for customers. As a result, it will push up property prices and rents, which lead to the rising of living cost.

In conclusion, the increase in one-person households has both beneficial and detrimental effects on individuals and on the economy.
