Some people think that instead of preventing climate change, we need to find a way to live with it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Climate change represents a major threat to life on Earth, but some people argue that we need to accept it rather than try to stop it. I completely disagree with this opinion, we still have time to tackle this issue and reduce the human impact on the Earth’s climate, if we do it as soon as possible.

There are some solutions for governments and individuals to prevent, or at least mitigate climate change. Governments should use and set up a fund to develop infinite resources such as solar, wind, and biomass. In that way, they could cut off the dependence on fossil fuels, which lead to the greenhouse effect. They also could introduce strict laws to limit deforestation and encourage people planting trees, that help to clean the air pollution. As individuals, we could constrain the consumption of energy and water by using more efficient devices such as LD light bulbs, innovation, and shower system. Furthermore, it is necessary for us to promote public transportation, carpooling but also electric mobility, which allows to save energy from lots of private cars, as well as decline the amount of Co2 emission that is one factor of global warming.

If instead of taking the above measures we simply try to live with climate change, I believe that we might be suffered a disastrous consequence. As a typical example of this is that climate change would be affecting the global economy. It would shark up social, health and geopolitical in many parts of the world because of the scarcity of resources like food. As a result, we would see outbreaks of disease and famine, as well as increased homelessness and poverty. Moreover, millions of people would force to migrate to nearby cities or countries due to the rising sea level and floods.

In conclusion, It is clear to me that we must cope with climate change and I totally disagree with someone who thinks we need to live with it.
