IELTS task 2: packaging of goods, really appreciate

Task 2: Some people feel that manufacturers and supermarkets have the responsibility to reduce the amount of packaging of goods. While others argue that customers should avoid buying goods with a lot of packaging. Discuss both views and give your opinion

The modern world, nowadays, has observed the contentious issue that whether organizers or consumers must take responsibility for packaging of goods reducing. While some would blame that for manufacturers, I would argue that every single people, especially customers, must pay effort to reduce to packaging products.

It is understandable why some people think that manufacturers have to decrease the packaging usages. Products which are over packaged have caused the majority harms to environment over the last decade. The plastic related to these products takes thousands years for decomposition, which will poison our planet day by day. Outside environments, such as river and earth, are also contaminated by the manufacturing process belonging to these plastic cover. There was a prime example few years ago that Thi Vai River, which is the largest river in Dong Nai, was poisoned by the riverside Vedan Factory and since that event almost no underwater creatures can live in this river till now.

In spite of some obvious evident related to manufacturers, the responsibility of consumers is also undeniable. Companies only produce what can serve human’s pursuits. It means that the more packaging of goods, the more pleasant their customers feel. It is clear that some people requires a lot of cover for their luxury electronic products for shipping and that sometimes unnecessary because of the fact that no regular layer could normal packaging method ensure the device when accident. Therefore, raising people’s awareness plays a vital role to solve this issue. If single person could reduce the amount of plastic cover demand, organizers would also moderate their packaging process.

Although there are still some problems of packaging reduction, in my opinion, every member of public should join to figure out this trouble.
