Ielts Task 2. I did correct some of my errors. but i changed my essay a little bit.

Companies are responsible only for making money for their investors. Therefore, they should not be held accountable for the environmental and social costs of their business activity to society as a whole.

Businesses should do no more than concentrate on making profit.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience

Nowadays, many individuals hold a belief that businesses ought to bear responsibility for environmental issues and the society. Nonetheless, others assert that these corporations pay attention to other aspects rather than take all efforts to foster the company’s economy. I partly agree that companies should care deeply about the environment as well as the society.

There are several rationales for this opinion. Initially, it is undeniable that companies should try collaborate with other companies to solve some social problems. To exemplify this, as today, there are still undeveloped regions and places which do not gain enough support and financial aid in order to improve their living standards. Therefore, companies should spend their profit on these poor areas or donate to charities to help them in terms of finance and food supplements. For example, many large corporations in Viet Nam such as VinCome or ComeVin did used their money to buy and install many state-of-the-art technological devices and supply the people with food and water to help them overcome poverty and famine.

Furthermore, the environment is estimated to become increasingly damaged by the humanity. For that reason, companies should work together and strive to curb environmental issues such as climate change and rising sea levels. It is vital that they should equip some facilities which operate by using renewable sources so that they can help mitigate the pollution.

In conclusion, regardless of the importance of money in businesses, they should take other aspects into careful consideration. My firm conviction is that they should take responsibility for problems related to environment and the society.
