Some people say that music is a good way of bring people of different cultures and ages together.
To what extend do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
It is believed that a one of the best way to connect people from different cultures and ages is music. I cannot agree more that music has a huge impact on human companionships.
Firstly, music is one way to communicating between souls. For example, a lullaby or a children song, which is passed down from generations to generations and countries to countries, bring children together as well as increase the sense of belonging and moral. Another example is when the crowd with different ages listening to or singing national anthem, they feel a strong attachment between each other and obligation toward their hometown. It is proved that social cohesion is higher in families and community when individuals listen to music together. Therefore, music acts as a “social glue” that binds everyone together.
In addition, people tend to feel closer to those who have the common music interests. An individual will think better about someone who has the same taste of music, since music is so meaningful than just rhythm and lyrics. People sometimes evaluate others based on their type of music. For instance, the audience consists of different age groups with different cultures in a concert might feel somewhat attach to each other. They talk and enjoy the concert together regardless other’s backgrounds because they have the same musical taste.
In conclusion, music is a powerful bond between people regardless ages and cultures. I think the reason is music contains deeper meaning and emotion that has a positive influence on people interactions.
