My writing:

In the world of technology, many people think that art and music are fading and redundant. However, in my opinion, art and music still play an important role in our life.

First, art and music are the tools that tickle human imagination and creativeness. People can show the hobbies, lifestyles, and aspirations through a picture or a painting, or a song. They can utilize different materials to create works of art that symbolize their feelings. Another positive aspect of art and music is they can change our mood rapidly. After a busy day with a lot of stress, we can blow off our minds by making art or listening to soft melody songs. Moreover, when we feel a little bit down in the dumps, our mood will be better right away if we designed a work of art. In other words, art and music are mind medicine for people.

Secondly, art and music illustrate the culture and customs of the past generations and centuries in the previous time. Some multiple artists and singers were well-known and had fascinating works. Besides, in each period, there was a trend of art or something like that. Therefore, painters and songwriter could compose numerous works of art which had the symbolic movements and reflected the past social circumstances. And these things are really valuable for historians and assessors to research each one's characteristics. Nowadays, it seems like most of us just care about some natural sciences subjects. Nevertheless, as I said in advance, art and music are still vital to us. Therefore, children should balance the two types of fields appropriately. And our right hemisphere which is responsible for imagination abilities and the left hemisphere which is in charge of logical skills can cooperate harmoniously. Each subject has advantages to our brain, so students had better spend time learning these two fields balanced.

To sum up, art and music are essential to our world today.
