Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of the society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is no doubt that education has become one of the most important tool in countries development . However , different people have different opinions about how children should be taught to become good members of society. While some people believe that it is parent’s duty , some argue that school is the better place to learn this

Parents are the closest relatives of children and they know their kids clearly from personality, hobby to their advantages. Therefore, parents should take responsibility for teaching their children about respect, honesty,love, kindness, how to behave with others, deal with the problems etc, based on their life experience. Children can understand and mimic verry quickly what they had heard , seen and parents are the greatest example for them to follow

On the other hand, there are some argue that school is the right place to learn how to be good members off the society. It is understandable why this view is held : Schools mostly teach academic lessons and fundamental skills on various subjects that help to be self-reliant. These education will help them a lot in the future for example: fiding a good job , creating social relationship, adopting skill in their career. However there are some disadvantage that school can not bring to children. Firstly, schools comprise a large amount of students and every children have their own characters, thinking level, understanding level so it is hard for teachers to take care and understand their choice to evaluate them. Secondly, they lack of practical experience in schools , what children can find from their parents who has faced to the success and mistakes in their life.

In conclusion, the most effective method to help children to become moral and responsible people of society is teaching at home and their parents play an important role for this
