Overpopulation of urban areas has led to numerous problems.

Identify one or two serious ones and suggest ways that governments and individuals can tackle these problems.

These days, the number of population is sharply increasing, which has led to a severe problem. This essay will discuss the main problem caused by overpopulation is the environment. This essay will also suggest solutions for governments and individuals how to tackle these issue including to promote family planning policy and to educate citizen about the effect of rising population.
Firstly, more and more people in one place or city will effect to the environment. As the human population keeps on rising, the volume of fuel usage is accelerating growth. Therefore, the level of pollution in the air is rising. For instance, Jakarta ranks one on the index of cities with the highest air pollution levels. It goes without saying that it is time for the government and citizen to work together to tackle these issue by implementing the demographic plan.
Secondly, governments have promoted family planning policy, while individuals have educated themselves to aware of the effect of overpopulation. People need to realize that the population in the urban area is growing, but the respective infrastructure is not always up to the challenge. For example, the government of the Republic of China has created one child for one family policy as an effort to reduce the rising population. Therefore, the innovation policy and awareness of overpopulation are needed to tackle this issue.
In conclusion, more and more population have become ubiquitous in the urban area. This essay discussed the overpopulation caused destruction to the environment. On the other side, the solution to this problem is twofold: to educate citizen about how overpopulation will destroy the environment and promote innovation policy such as family planning.
