Many young people who leave school hold a negative attitude towards learning. Why does this happen? What are the solutions?

It is true that school learners are often having a negative attitude towards learning due to some reasons. However, this problem can be tackled by some common-sense solutions.

An increasing number of school leavers who dislike learning was caused by some dominant factors. First, the school curriculum is too demanding. Apart from attending many classes, students also have to complete a number of assignments and group projects in short terms. As a result, they may feel exhausted and less interested in school after studying intensively. Second, students are obliged to spend much time focusing on some unnecessary subjects that do not provide any benefits to their practical lives. For instance, when studying history, students have to memorize many events happening in the past, although we can not apply this sort of knowledge into earning money later on. Hence, schools are usually considered to be a waste of life.

However, there are some effective measures which can be taken to deal with this problem. The first solution would be to make lessons more interesting. If a lecture is provided with some visual aids such as video clips, it can attract learners' attention. Therefore, studying may become a hobby rather than an obligation and pupils can have greater motivation to learn at school. In addition, the number of non-essential subjects should be cut down, students need to be broaden their horizons by profound knowledge which is important for them when entering adult life. Consequently, school syllabus will become more practical and learners can see tremendous benefits of education.

In conclusion, although most juveniles who leave school usually dislike studying for some reasons explaining, I strongly believe that those options mentioned above can remedy the situation.
