Ielts task 2

Some people say the government should not put money into building theatres and sports stadiums; they should spend more money on medical care and education.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

There are a number of fields in which the government has to invest insightfully. I do not agree with the statement that the government should give more finance priorities to medicine and education than theatres and sport stadiums. It seems to me that every field has the same significance in the society.

Firstly, theatre is a place where concerts, plays are organized. Purpose of theatres is to lead people closer to arts, help them understand more intensively about values of arts. Arts can widen our minds to make us recognize beauty of life. Next, sport stadiums are used to run sport events, races or matches. Sport is important for the reason that it boosts our spirit to be more active and energetic. Role of sport is attached with the task in enhancing health and physical improvement for community.

Secondly, both medicine and education are crucial parts of social development. Medicine’s mission is to take care of public health, give patients timely and accurate treatment. Therefore, it gives enormous contribution to physical health. In the other side, education provides knowledge for community, teaches us how the world operate or how should we behave towards others. Education promotes huge expansion into mental health.
In conclusion, all fields have their own precious values. While arts and education discover our talents, sport and medicine concentrate mainly on our bodies. On condition that one of these areas is deficient, our life seemly become incomplete, so it is hard to say which is more meaningful. We should take every department into account
