The map below shows the development of a seaside village between 1995 and the present.
Write a short report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The two maps show changes to a seaside village between 1995 and today. It can be seen that this village experienced quite changes during the recent 25 years. These changes include some new parts and buildings that are added and built in this period and also some changes in the usage of old buildings.
In the past, there were farmland and a forest park in the top right-hand corner of the village. Now, by contrast, a golf course and two tennis courts are there. Also, a fishing port and some fish markets on the beach
were demolished in this period. At present, some apartments have been built in the location of the fish markets. There were some shops in front of fish markets next to the road along the coastline, in 1995. These buildings are now used as restaurants.
The housing estate on the top left-hand corner of the village had not very much changes except just a few houses were totally damaged. In addition, there was a car park next to the hotel on the far right of the village that is destroyed, now.
Therefore, it is clear that the village obviously changed during this period.
