IELTS Task 1 Writing ==> map

The map below show colwick arts centre in 2005 and today.

summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This floor plant illustrates the expansion of colwick art center between 2005 and today. as it can be seen some huge changes were made in buildings and constructing new section.

In the past, two galleries were located on the right-hand side that joined together and relocated on left-hand-side of the map. The old buildings were constructed as a concert hall. A huge building in the center of the map was used for the concert hall and cinema that today is demolished. central exhibition area and a new building for cinema are built on that location. Toilet building on the left side was moved to the opposite side, below the new concert hall and become smaller.

A café is built between the new gallery and outdoor exhibition area. There was a snack bar in the north-west that completely destroyed and meeting room below it was separated into two building that replaced with snack bar. A new building is created between today cinema and meeting rooms that use as drama studio.

wasteland in the bottom of the map became an outdoor exhibition area and performance area. A lot of trees are planted and several bench tables add to it.
