IELTS TASK 1- TRAIN PASSENGER + PUNCTUALITY

Hi, I would be grateful if this piece of writing Task 1 could receive helpful feedback from the teachers here. Thank you for reading my writing.

Task 1: The first graph shows the number of train passengers from 2000 to 2009; the second compares the percentage of trains running on time and target in the period.

The first line graph illustrates the number of train users from 2000 to 2009 in millions. The second line graph compares the percentage of punctual trains with the target

While fluctuating, the number of train passengers saw a moderate increase between 2000 and 2009. Starting at a little more than 35 million people in 2000, the number fluctuated in an increasing trend, reaching a peak in 2005 with 45 million users. The period from 2005 to 2009, however, experienced a moderate decline to around 40 million at the end of the timeframe.

The percentage of trains running on time exceeded the target from 2002 to 2005, and from 2008 to 2009. While the proportion in 2000 and 2001 failed to match the target, the percentage in 2002 achieved 95%, matching the target, and then continued to exceed it until 2005. It is noticeable that 96% of the trains exceeds the target in 2004. Similarly, the period from 2008 to 2009 also saw the proportion of punctual trains passing the goal. In this one year, the figure remained the same at 97%.
