The line chart illustrate the average number of time that children spent in front of the television in a day from 1950 to 2010.
Overall, the trend children spending watching television increased significantly over the period given. From the beginning of period, children trended to spend less time for this leisure activity but over the period given, this trend increased significantly by over 4 hours watching television per day.
In the starting period, children was less interesting spending time in front of televison, they only spent approximately under 1 hour per day. But from 1960 to 1980, this figure rose significantly and reached to 4 hours of watching television.
From 1980 to 2010, there was a fluctuation in the average number of hours children spent in front of television. This figure dropped slightly before it reached to the highest point aprroximately over 4 hours per day. After that, this trend followed by a slight decrease over the remaining period.
