IELTS TASK 1 - Please help me


The bar chart and the pie chart show the data for reasons visitors came to the US as well as the problems they experienced in 2009.

Overall, most people visit the US because of their work, and the price of travel is considered as the main issue for traveling in the US in 2009.

According to the bar chart, in 2009, 49% of trips to the US came to the purpose of working. In contrast, only 6% of trips were visits to friends or relatives, and one of ten trips were for social and recreation reasons. Besides, the figure for personal reasons accounted for 29%, while the percentage of shopping made up 16%.

Additionally, in 2009, the price for travel was the biggest problems for 36% of visitors, while people who had trouble with space for pedestrians and public transport only were 6% and 8% respectively. The pie chart also shows that aggress drivers and safety concern was recorded as issues of 17% and 19% of travelers. Finally, 14% of people who visited the US in 2009 chose highway congestion as the biggest problem they experienced.

Why not make two sentences, one for the bar chart, and one for the pie chart? Something like:

The bar chart shows the reasons for travelling in the USA in 2009, divided into five categories, visiting friends and relatives, ..... The pie chart
